About me
My Journey
I have ridden horses from a young age, competing in showjumping and later dressage, when I retired my horse in 2019 I took up running to keep fit, both of these pastimes don't come injury free, having had various sports massage treatments myself and running my Equine Sports Massage business I realised how important it is to look after yourself! With this in mind I started my journey to train to become a human sports massage therapist. I qualified as a Level 3 sports massage therapist in 2020, this is when Lyn Armitage Sports Massage was created and it's been keeping me busy ever since. 2025 was a testing year for me personally which led me to looking at supporting courses to help me and my clients, this is when Lyn Armitage Sports Massage & Wellbeing was created.
I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage through the Sports Massage Academy in 2020 and my Level 4 Certificate with them in 2022. I have since been working full time as a human and equine sports massage therapist. I have completed additional courses to enhance my knowledge.
